Generalities Jacaranda tree:

Jacaranda is a tree belonging to the Bignoniaceae family. It is a species native to the countries of Central and South America. In many areas, given the beauty of its flowers, it is used to decorate avenues and streets. However, with some care, it can also be grown indoors. The jacaranda plant has a shrub or arboreal habit. It is a deciduous species. These appear as a set of smaller, lanceolate and bright green leaves. The foliage is dense and regular, very thick and imposing. The branches are light brown and gnarled, while the flowers are composed of panicles in shades from blue to purplish, really suggestive. There are more than 50 different varieties of jacaranda. The most famous, however, is the Jacaranda mimosifolia, so called because it somehow recalls the mimosa plant

Jacaranda Tree Cultivation and Care:

This type of tree does not require special attention. It is sturdy and durable enough. It has a very rapid growth and this has favored its use as an ornamental plant. The plant, given its origins, needs a mild and breezy climate, otherwise it must be grown indoors. Pay attention to frosts and place it in a sunny area. It tolerates high temperatures well. It blooms in late spring and in some cases there is a new flowering even in autumn. It produces clusters made up of many tubular-shaped flowers, about 5 cm long and with a typical violet color. These appear before the leaves are born.
